UK immersive experience specialist LCI Productions has secured a new contract with Bangladesh-based developer UCC Infratech to deliver a series of immersive dark ride theatre attractions as part of the country’s growing investment in tourism, leisure and educational entertainment infrastructure.
The project forms part of a wider government-backed initiative to expand access to world-class leisure and edutainment experiences across Bangladesh, as the country continues its journey towards developing nation status and accelerates investment in tourism, culture and visitor attractions.
Under the contract, LCI Productions will design and deliver immersive multi-seat dark ride theatre experiences featuring wraparound projection environments, high-resolution visual content, spatial audio systems and a range of environmental effects including wind and scent. The attractions will transport guests into narrative-driven adventures designed to combine entertainment with educational storytelling.
The rollout is expected to bring immersive learning experiences to audiences across multiple locations throughout Bangladesh, helping to expand access to engaging educational content for millions of visitors.
The contract strengthens the long-standing relationship between LCI Productions and UCC, one of Bangladesh’s leading developers of tourism, leisure and attraction projects.
The two companies previously collaborated on the country’s first large-scale water screen and fountain show at the Swadhinata Stambha Complex within Suhrawardy Udyan Park in Dhaka. Located at one of the nation’s most significant historical sites, the attraction combines fountain effects, water screen projection technology and distributed audio systems to tell the story of Bangladesh’s independence and national development. The free nightly attraction has become a popular public destination, encouraging longer visitor dwell times and greater engagement with the surrounding cultural assets.
The new dark ride programme represents the next phase of Bangladesh’s ambitions to develop a thriving experience economy, supported by investment in leisure, entertainment and lifestyle infrastructure.

The Bangladesh dark ride programme is expected to commence installation in phases, with further details to be announced as development progresses.
