The project
To mark Qatar National Day, the city of Doha was transformed into a breathtaking multimedia experience, and we were at the heart of it. With a show stretching across the 5km Corniche, this one-night-only spectacular combined fire, water, light, and sound to celebrate the rich heritage and forward-looking spirit of Qatar.
The challenge
How do you capture an entire nation’s story, and make it visible and audible to thousands of spectators across miles of waterfront? Add to that:

The solution
To make Qatar’s big night one to remember, we assembled the full AV arsenal:
- Visual Spectacle:
- A 70m x 30m building projection screen displayed cinematic content celebrating Qatar’s history and identity.
- 10 floating water screen systems filled the bay, showcasing additional themed sequences.
- 80 searchlights lit up the skies in synchronised formation.
- 400 illuminated palm trees provided glowing visual continuity along the Corniche.
Audio + Fireworks Integration:
All visual elements were synchronised to a 20-minute fireworks display, ensuring a fully immersive experience.
The show’s soundtrack was pre-designed and approved to match national sentiment and themes.
Logistics + Production:
A 50-strong LCI team managed every element of the show, across production, technology, and logistics.
Seven trucks of equipment were transported from Dubai and the UK to Doha.
The entire event was delivered as a turnkey solution by our team.
Creative Direction:
All content was produced in-house by our creative team, including concept development, storyboarding, filming, and post-production.
Extensive location shoots included museums, the national zoo, equestrian centers, and on-sea scenes featuring pearl divers and dhow boats.
The Experience
From falcons to fireworks, from dhows to digital projections, the show painted a living portrait of Qatar’s past, present, and future. As locals and visitors lined the bay, they were treated to an unforgettable multisensory journey filled with tradition, pride, and spectacle.
