The project
The LCI team returned to the prestigious RHS Chelsea Flower Show, providing a comprehensive suite of AV communication solutions that enhanced the experience for visitors and organisers alike.
The challenge
To deliver seamless and versatile AV setups across multiple conference suites and public spaces, ensuring high-quality presentations, discussions, and entertainment throughout the week-long event.
The solution
Elevating Conference Suites: The LCI team designed and installed complete AV setups for two conference suites. Each suite offered a versatile layout, easily transforming between banquet, cabaret, theatre, and boardroom configurations for presentations, judging rounds, and discussions.
Main Conference Suite (30m x 15m)
- Two large 65-inch Samsung LED display screens flanking the stage.
- Strategically placed 55-inch LED displays for excellent visibility throughout the room.
- Audio system comprising eight EV SX100 speakers powered by a Crown amplifier.
- Dual laptops controlled the system, feeding through a Scarlett audio recording system for presenters, allowing for recording presentations for later use.
Bandstand Entertainment
The LCI team managed the entire bandstand production, providing a seamlessly integrated sound and lighting system that delivered an exceptional experience for guests.
Creating the “Wow” Factor at RHS Chelsea Late
For the highly anticipated “RHS Chelsea Late” event at Ranelagh Gardens, LCI Productions designed a bespoke lighting and laser show synchronized to play in tandem with BBC’s Jo Whiley’s DJ set to finish the evening.
- Laser Setup:
- Two AT-30 30W lasers operating concurrently with three E-stops.
Controlled via a dedicated laser control server and iPad.
Lighting System
Five powerful 600W moving lights.
24 LED pixel bar lights.
24 LED Par 7 lights.
Controlled through a lighting desk connected to a laptop interface.
Smaller Conference Suite Excellence (12.5m x 12.5m)
The smaller conference suite mirrored the layout of the main suite with two 55-inch LED displays flanking a shorter stage. Despite the reduced size, we ensured a seamless and high-quality production experience.
