LCI were commissioned by Center Parcs to create a soothing AV installation to help spa guests relax in their forest relaxation room.
The system uses four projectors to create a unique ambient lighting feature on the ceiling through 3D projection mapping. The piece lasts around twenty minutes, bathing the spa guests in a stylized and soothing skylight panorama.
As you lie in the room, you look up at a magical sky through a hole in the forest canopy, and a CG created time lapse video moves over you. It changes from sunrise to sunset, with the moon rising and setting, and birds and stars. The experience is very relaxing, and guests often say that it’s one of their favourite features in the luxury spa.
The system runs on four Casio Laser Projectors, powered by a 7th Sense Server, with Show Control provided by Wings ISEO.
