To create a hologram effect for content to celebrate NFL’s 50th anniversary. They wanted to use an iconic building as part of their campaign to celebrate their UK fan base.
As part of a promotional campaign for NFL through events agency Innovision, we created a hologram effect over London’s Shard building. We used a ‘Pepper’s Ghost’ methodology, where a large screen of glass was used to project a video onto and in line of the Shard where those who walked past the glass, would see the hologram.
Video and images from the project were used as part of the NFL’s celebrations. We also created a water screen projection nearby on the River Thames to ‘thank UK NFL fans’. It created a great offline and online buzz in time for the start of the new season.
