LCI partnered with experiential marketing agency Ambient Media to deliver the Samsung Gear VR.

Experience at Westfield London, one of the city’s premier shopping destinations.

The challenge

Samsung wanted an engaging, high-impact way to showcase the capabilities of its Gear VR headset and Galaxy smartphones to a wide consumer audience in a busy retail environment.

The solution

LCI designed, built, and operated a fully immersive installation that placed visitors on a virtual reality roller coaster ride. Using Samsung Gear VR headsets, participants experienced the thrill of VR first-hand, while an adjacent screen displayed both messaging and the perceived ride experience to the wider audience.

The impact

The activation stopped shoppers in their tracks, driving excitement, engagement, and word-of-mouth for Samsung’s latest technology. It successfully blended entertainment with brand storytelling, offering thousands of visitors an unforgettable VR encounter.
